About MSBTE:

• Design and develop the curriculum of diploma, post-diploma and advance diploma programs….
• Grant affiliation to institutions running MSBTE programs.
• To conduct academic monitoring of affiliated institutions through course implementation and evaluation criteria (CIAAN).
• Conducting faculty development training programs e.g. Training training, soft skill training, industrial training and management training for polytechnic teachers, content updating hands on skill training.
• Grants for programs offered by autonomous polytechnics and other organizations.
• Conduct examinations, declare results and provide certificates.
• Obtain state level rank holders and award certificates of merit.
• Set standards for curriculum, infrastructure and other resources
• Prepare question paper through question paper.
• Design and develop curriculum for need based diploma programs.
• Develop lab manuals, CAI packages, textbooks and other learning resource packages for effective learning learning process.
• Conduct research conferences, study technological progress, revise the syllabus of existing programs from time to time based on scientific programs based on latest market requirements, job analysis, etc.
• Controlling the academic autonomy projects of polytechnics outside the state of Maharashtra.
• External projects, consultancy and other work related to examination system and technical education.
• Organize career fairs to promote technical education, especially in remote locations.
• Conduct MSBTE state level technical competitions e.g. Student paper presentation, technical quiz etc.
• Issue scholarship to needy and meritorious students.
• Conducts online MSCIT exams.
