History of C programming

It is interesting to know the history of C language. Here we are going to discuss a brief history of C language.

The development of C programming language was done by Dennis Ritchie in Bellary Laboratories of AT & T (American Telephone & Telegraph) in 1972, which was developed by the U.S.A.

Dennis Ritchie is known as the founder of C-language.

It was developed to overcome problems of previous languages such as B, BCPL etc.

Initially, the C language was developed to be used in the UNIX operating system. It has inherited many characteristics of previous languages such as B and BCPL.
